Coordinator for health-promoting work - Healthcare Job Responsibilities

As a coordinator, you are responsible for planning, developing, and following up on initiatives that strengthen health-promoting and preventive work in the region.

You collaborate with healthcare providers, municipalities, and other stakeholders to contribute to a long-term sustainable development of public health work. The role also involves acting as a knowledge support for colleagues on issues related to health-promoting and preventive initiatives.

You play a central role in driving and coordinating development in the area.

Your responsibilities include:

• conducting environmental monitoring within health-promoting work
• contributing to and supporting a knowledge-based health-promoting work
• developing collaboration with municipalities and civil society
• participating in national and healthcare regional networks and development work

You work closely with other departments and experts within healthcare. The role entails significant personal responsibility, a high degree of independence, and good opportunities to influence the development of Region Dalarna's health-promoting work. You will be part of the department for Healthcare Transformation, where you, together with engaged colleagues, contribute to developing the future of healthcare.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with daytime working hours, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a relevant university or college degree in healthcare, public health science, or another related field
• excellent ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• several years of experience working in health-promoting activities, preferably in a coordinating or project management role

It is an advantage if you also have:

• experience of strategic work in a politically governed organization or other public sector
• experience of working in healthcare
• experience in leading collaboration processes
• the ability to work both independently and in teams

As a person, you are proactive, structured, and have good coordination skills. You find it easy to build relationships and create good collaborations. You are flexible and can adapt in a developing and changing organization. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
